Showcasing one of the key CleanAlgae2Value food ingredients at Next Bite 2025

The Next Bite 2025 event, organized by EIT Food, took place on 15-16 October 2025 in Brussels. The event covered topics such as Healthier Lives Through Food and Net Zero Food Systems, focusing on linking nutrition to health and sustainability. The event brought together leading food innovators and thought leaders to shape the future of food!

One of the key moments for our project during the event was that our coordinator Solmeyea had the opportunity to showcase their piloted white microalgae protein powder use in various delicious recipes – including a vegan mayonnaise in a lentil salad and a cracker made with their protein as a basis.
